Postpartum Adjustment

Pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into parenthood bring profound emotional, physical, and psychological changes. While it’s often expected to be a joyful time, many new parents are unprepared for the intensity of these changes. The “baby blues” are common and often temporary—but for some, the symptoms are more intense and lasting, and may signal a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder.

With the right support, healing is not only possible—it’s absolutely within reach.

If you are struggling, I encourage you to reach out. With informed care and a compassionate plan in place, you can begin to feel more grounded, more yourself, and rediscover peace, connection, and purpose in this new chapter of your life.

You don’t have to do this alone. Support is here.

Perinatal & Infant Loss
Losing a baby is an unimaginable heartbreak—one that brings profound grief, sadness, and a flood of complex emotions. Whether your loss occurred during pregnancy, at birth, or shortly after, the pain is real, and your experience is valid.

Please know this: you are not alone in your grief, and support is available.

While nothing can erase the loss, healing is possible. With care, compassion, and time, you can find your way through the sorrow. I am here to offer support, understanding, and guidance—along with helpful tools and resources—to gently accompany you through this painful journey.

No matter how deep your pain feels right now, there is hope. You do not have to navigate this alone.

Infertility

A diagnosis of infertility can bring a wave of unexpected and often overwhelming emotions. Whether you're just beginning to process the news or are in the midst of treatments, the journey can be filled with grief, sadness, anxiety, and uncertainty. These emotions can impact your relationships, self-esteem, and everyday life in profound ways.

Infertility is not just a medical condition - it’s an emotional experience that deserves compassionate, informed support.

Individual or couples therapy can offer a safe and supportive space to:

  • Process grief, loss, or disappointment

  • Navigate difficult decisions and medical treatments

  • Strengthen your relationship as a couple

  • Manage anxiety, depression, or isolation

  • Reconnect with your sense of hope and self-worth.

I understand how personal and painful this path can be. My approach is gentle, nonjudgmental, and deeply respectful of your unique story. Together, we can work through the emotional weight of infertility and move toward healing with clarity, resilience, and care.

Perimenopause & Menopause Support

Navigating the physical and emotional shifts that accompany perimenopause and menopause can be overwhelming, isolating, and often misunderstood.

In my practice, I provide a safe and supportive space where women can openly discuss their symptoms, challenges, and concerns without judgment. Together, we explore the mental health impact of hormonal changes, develop practical coping strategies, and identify ways to restore balance and emotional well-being.

I believe that knowledge is power — and I’m committed to offering clear, evidence-based information so that women feel empowered to make informed decisions about their physical and mental health during this important life stage.

Grief & Loss Counseling

"The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of those depths."

- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Anyone who has experienced a major loss knows how incredibly devastating it can be. Loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, financial status, a breakup, an illness, or anything of real meaning can cause an array of difficult feelings such as grief, emptiness, despair, anger, shock, numbness, relief, sadness, and perhaps even physical pain in the body. Often it seems like the deep sadness will never go away.

Are you having trouble dealing with:

  • Strong feelings of yearning or longing for your lost loved one?

  • Thoughts and memories so persistent and intense that is stops you from being able to live your life in a meaningful way?

  • Thinking so much about the loss that you are finding it difficult to do normal, everyday things?

  • Repetitive thoughts about the circumstances of the loss?

  • People and/or places associated with the losss

While these intense feelings can be scary and overwhelming, it is important to know that grief is a natural response to loss. It is normal to feel strong emotions of physical and emotional pain when someone or something of significance is taken away. Therapy provides a safe place for you to express and process the grief so that healing can unfold naturally.  Grief therapy can help you gain a better understanding of your grief, manage strong emotions associated with grief, and help you begin to think about the future in a more positive way.

No matter how deep your grief and how great your pain, know that there is help and you are not alone.

Couples Therapy

"We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship".

- Harville Hendrix

Things to consider:

  • Are you tired of having the same fight going nowhere?

  • Do you feel like you have nothing in common anymore?

  • Are you and your partner stuck in a kind of "knee- jerk" reactivity at the first sign of disagreement?

  • Have you become discouraged that things never seem to change?

  • Have you and your partner grown apart fearing if it is even possible to get back the loving connection you had in the beginning of your relationship?

  • Do you long to be listened to and properly understood?

  • Are you carrying around resentments that have prevented you from feeling deeply connected?

At some point in their relationship, couples often find themselves struggling with anger, betrayal, sadness and despair.  These and other strong emotions can be difficult to manage and often lead to a relationship of disappointment, loneliness, and angry co-existence.

The shattered dreams of your relationship, whatever form they take, are painful. But there is hope.  My work with couples, revolves around the principle that nobody is right or wrong in the relationship. The work is centered around teaching couples a new way of speaking to each other when they are upset, hurt, frustrated or reactive.  I use model that helps replace ineffective communication patterns with a new way to talk together about things which really matter, in a way that feels safe, supportive, and positive.  Couples learn how to be present, understand each other in a deeper way, listen attentively, and commit to creating a safe space where healing and reconnection can take place.

Take the first step in restoring your relationship and creating the loving and safe partnership you deserve and desire.

Indavidual Therapy

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break?

Do you struggle with self-doubt or perfectionism that keeps you from fully engaging with your life?

Are you navigating a life transition, grief, or emotional pain and looking for clarity and support?

Do you long for a deeper sense of self-understanding, peace, and purpose?

Therapy is not about “fixing” you — it’s about gently uncovering what’s already within you. Whether you’re facing difficult emotions, unresolved trauma, or simply a sense that something is “off,” individual therapy can offer a path toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change.

In my work, I provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I view therapy as a collaborative process — one that honors your strengths, your story, and your readiness to grow. My approach integrates evidence-based tools with a deep respect for the human spirit, encouraging clients to reconnect with themselves, identify patterns that no longer serve them, and build more intentional and fulfilling lives.

Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more at home within yourself. Healing isn’t always linear, but with the right support, it is absolutely possible.
